Tracking the Venezuelan-affiliated Oil Tanker 'Pursued' by American Maritime Authorities

We are verifying images and video circulated this morning that depict the aftermath of a reported car bomb explosion that Russian officials state fatally injured a high-ranking military officer in Moscow.
Russian authorities confirmed that Lieutenant General Fanil Sarvarov was in the car that detonated and that he succumbed to his wounds. A probe is under way.
Our starting point to verify the site of where the pictures originated was based on posts indicating the blast happened on Yasenevaya Ulitsa in the southern part of the capital city of Russia.
Our analysis employed street-view imagery on Google Maps and the local mapping service Yandex Maps to match the unique yellow colour of a nearby apartment building captured in the footage.
Locating other structures, lamp-posts and the street layout verified where the footage were taken.
Additionally, we verified that the video clips were recent and that the visuals had not been manipulated.
