The Ideal Pokémon Tales: Z-A Super Form According to Your Astrological Sign
This return of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked widespread excitement across the fandom. Starting with the gradual unveiling of newcomers before the game's launch, to players developing firm opinions on the full lineup of new Megas, there's a lot for enthusiasts to look forward to.
Given numerous of the Mega Evolutions boasting distinctive appearances that emphasize their traits, one idea came to mind: How can connect this with zodiac signs? The following is based on a mix of intuition, sign stereotypes, and individual observations.
The Ram – Mega Camerupt
Honestly, Houndour's evolution was nearly chosen for this fire sign, as they are the Super Form and zodiac symbol that inspire the greatest apprehension. However, a Mega Houndoom comes across as constantly furious, which isn't typical of the Aries vibe, known for being fun, light-hearted, and impulsive. That's why Aries much more similar to Mega Camerupt, which only spews lava when provoked. Remain on the good side of both and enjoy a strong partner; should you offend them, be ready to face the consequences.
The Bull – Mega Heracross
Similar to a loyal Taurus, the reliable Heracross, both in its standard and Mega form, has assisted numerous players in Legends: Z-A. While dependable, both the creature and a Taurus are still Fighting types, and – be it their companion or a firm belief – will defend their side to the end. The thing about Mega Heracross that reminds me most of my Bull-sign companions, however, is its unashamed love of treats. Several previous official descriptions mention their fondness for tasty sap and how it employs its horn to collect it all, which is pure Bull-sign vibe.
The Twins – Mega Medicham
Observe this total queen. You cannot convince me this Pokémon is not the soul of any gathering, providing an endless stream of chatter to anyone who wants to listen. Much like an enrapturing, sociable Gemini, it's incredibly easy to envision Super Medicham mesmerizing an entire open area with their tales. Medicham’s Pokédex entry also states its ability to predict an opponent's next moves, which seems very like a people-smart Gemini.
The Crab – Mega Manectric
Cancer is widely regarded as the most emotional sign of the zodiac, a intense symbol famous for frequently getting absorbed in their feelings. Per the Pokédex, Mega Evolution charges the creature with a “huge amount of energy, but it's too much for Manectric to fully manage,” which seems a lot like a classic Crab crash-out. It is also known for its capability to make a thundercloud over its own head – and if there’s a single trait a Crab is likely to do, it’s spoil their own parade.
Leo – Mega Starmie
Well, did you think I was planning to select Pyroar for the lion of the stars? Aside from the reality that it would be much too obvious, Leo is obviously Mega Starmie, the star whose gams just became an internet sensation for being extremely glamorous (or horrifying, based on your taste). Players were captivated from the violet sea star, and that’s precisely the identical energy a Lion brings to the scene. Starmie is also rumored to be broadcasting radio waves from its red core out into the cosmos, and it’s just like a Lion to be staging a show, albeit for aliens.
The Maiden – Mega Victreebel
The always-ready and constantly-worried Virgo is ideally encapsulated in Mega Victreebel, the Mega with constant digestive issues. The sign famous for being endearingly judgmental is clearly mirrored across this Pokémon’s whole evolutionary chain, from a always surprised expression like a Maiden when you tell them you don’t have a 401(k), to its upside-down face that’s similar to the emoji a Virgo posts to the chatroom when everyone says they want to “be spontaneous” rather than creating a plan.
Libra – Mega Audino
Observe this gentle, empathetic creature, who employs the feelers on its ears to detect how others are emotionally by their heartbeat. Consistently compassionate – occasionally to a detriment – and striving to keep the harmony, there are many Libras who would probably appreciate Super Audino's skills. However, let’s be honest, it would likely just make them stress even more about others.
Scorpio – Super Banette
Banette is a Pokémon with a surprisingly sad origin: Discarded as a doll, it gained consciousness through pure hatred and swore revenge on its previous caretaker. Per the official info, Mega Evolution, “increases its vindictiveness.” That sounds exactly like many discussions I’ve had with my scary Scorpion acquaintances. A Scorpion loves karma and comeuppance, making them the perfect match with Mega Banette.
The Archer – Mega Hawlucha
Each Super Hawlucha and Sagittarians are constantly putting on a show. As a Archer myself, the number of times I’ve called myself some version of a “silly little jester” is countless. The most flamboyant and most attention-seeking Mega Evolution, its description even mentions how it “flexes to show off its strength.” I would do the exact same thing if I had some kind of Super Form, making Super Hawlucha the most fitting Archer match I can think of.
Capricorn – Super Absol
Were you aware that a Super Absol has the power to foresee calamities in advance? That exudes the exact same energy as a Goat, who tends to always think they’re correct. Interestingly, much like a prophetic Super Absol, they often are. It’s also the absolute initial Mega Evolution that trainers encounter in Legends: Z-A – just like a Capricorn to get in on the beginning of the Mega trend.
The Water Bearer – Super Chandelure
Detached air sign Water Bearer is arguably the non-fire placement that is closest to a fire sign – its sister sign is the Lion, and there are numerous jokes about the Archer and Water Bearer being chaotic partners in crime. Mega Chandelure’s dual Ghost/Fire category matches perfectly with this, and the Super Form's general intimidating presence is also very Water Bearer. If you weren’t already persuaded, the Super Form's description says it “absorbs negative energy and transforms it into power.” If that doesn’t perfectly {encaps
