AC Shadows Reveals Surprising Attack on Titan Crossover for Thanksgiving
In a bizarre collaboration that breaks usual predictions, Ubisoft has announced an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering free bonus story content for Shadows players.
Strange Questline Disclosed
According to the authorized release, "An unusual meeting leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where whispers of banned practices and fearsome metamorphoses echo through the darkness." The narrative presents a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a hidden cult.
The mission centers on "strange tests and a fearsome foe" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Familiar Places and Changes
The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer finishes with a striking moment showing a character, likely the hostage, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Prizes and Bonus Features
Players who accomplish the quest will receive an exclusive katana alongside numerous artifacts concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
